Bear Lake Guides and Outfitters is located approximately 120 miles north east of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. The hunting area encompasses approx. 1700 square miles.

We offer you the beauty of British Columbia, from gentle rolling hills up to the majestic Rocky Mountains. You will find an abundance of terrain that takes in three main water sheds and many lakes.
The elevation in this rugged and breathtaking area varies from 2200 ft to over 7500 ft above sea level.

Licenses, Tags, Royalties and Fees:
are not included in the hunting price and may be changed by the Government at any time.

Hunting License: $CDN 200.00
Grizzly Tag: $CDN 1100.00 plus $CDN 750.00 royalty fee
Black Bear Tag: $CDN 200.00
Moose Tag: $CDN 270.00
Wolf Tag: $CDN 60.00
Non-Resident Hunting Preservation Fund: $CDN 200.00

Firearm License: Non residents entering Canada with a firearm must complete a Non-Resident Firearm Declaration and pay a fee of $CDN 25.00 at customs.

Transportation: There are daily flights into Prince George from Vancouver, BC.

You will be picked up the next morning for the first day of your hunt. Once at camp, hunting is done by boat, on foot, with ATV's or by truck.

What to Bring: a duffel bag, a good sleeping bag (to -20°C or 0°F), personal gear, toiletries and a towel. You will need good hiking boots and rubber boots, warm clothes, long underwear, gloves and a hat. A warm wool or fleece coat and pants for silent walking, rain gear and a flashlight. A pillow, binoculars and camera are optional. Bring your rifle and ammo (for grizzly a minimum of .300 Win Mag required).

Hunting Guides: Dirk Schuirmann, the Guide Outfitter, and his experienced guides have hunted the area for many years. They are qualified and knowledgeable about all the aspects of guiding and the field preparations of your trophy.
